Summer of Healing Treatment Camp
Picture
Summer of Healing is a camp that helps youth ages 8-17 recover from the detrimental effects of sexual abuse. For children and teens that have been sexually abused in their young lives, recovery is difficult at best. For the past 18 years, Family Counseling Service of Northern Nevada has offered a unique camp to help with their healing process. This camp is the only one of it’s kind in the entire nation!

The camp is specifically for only those children and youth who have been sexually abused, giving all attendees a safe place for healing. It consists of a camp style atmosphere coupled with a counseling component, which is essential for healing.

Camp will be held at Camp Ronald McDonald in Eagle Lake, California July 24th-27th, 2019. They also have a family violence camp and need volunteers for that as well.
Please call our office at 775-329-0623 for more information.
